Does Crestor Intake Cause Allergy Like Side Effects?
I'm a 52-year-old female. I started taking Crestor 2-1/2 weeks ago. I awoke this morning with a swollen face and neck and a rash. I also have swollen and painful breasts. I'm not having difficulty breathing, but my throat feels tight. Am I having an allergic reaction to the Crestor?

Hello.The manifestations of allergies to drugs usually occur in the first hours- days of intake but is recommended stop the intake,realize allergy tests and replace Rosuvastatin by other drug to lower cholesterol levels as Ezetimibe.
Addition, an antihistamine as Ebastine 10 mg twice a day can be taken for improve your symptoms.Please,consult your doctor for prescription.
