Does Blocked Nose Cause Heartburn Or Gastritis?

does Blocked noes cause heart Burns or Gastritis....... Most of the nights i suffer from Nose Block but if i use Oxymetazoline drops once in a while... when i use drops there will be no heart burns but i have read that using it for a long time causes addiction or reliant on the medication to relieve their chronic congestion....... Please advise what needs to be done to get relieved from both Nose Block as well as Gastritis..... (Also i had previously treated for mild Duodenal ulcer and also i was diagnosed and Treated for Rhino Sinusitis...) Pls Advise......

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Since you are a known case of gastritis in past the present problem looks to be related to the the factors that aggravate gastritis like diet, oily and spicy foods, stress and anxiety.
Hence identify the causes and avoid these.
There has to be a reason for nasal blockage which can be diagnosed by the following ways.
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, endoscopy, tests of blood and CT Scan of sinuses.
If there is deviated nasal septum go for corrective surgery.
If there is rhinosinusitis then go for proper medical management.
Stress and anxiety can cause nasal blockage hence control of these can help you a lot.
