Hi,

Deviry may cause dark skin patches on your face which is known as melasma. Exposure to the sun may make these patches darker. I would recommend the use of sunscreen or protective clothing when your skin is exposed to the sun. In case of persisting symptoms ,use of another hormonal pill can be considered to avoid side effects. Mild Steroid or Hydroquinone will be required to reduce the pigmentation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
