Does Lime Juice Treat Diarrhea?

I have been plagued with diarrhea for years now, I have completely cut out all sugar for about 2 years now and that helps a lot. I have notice recently that when I have lime juice it firms me right up, even better than taking anti diarrhea pills. Why do you suppose that is? Could it be PH related? I know that my system is pretty alkaline, has been every time I checked it. The doctors I've talked to about this are no help, now I don't have insurance, I live on a small island in Hawaii. I am 58 years old, super fit in every other way, I cycle long distances, ride horses, grow a lots of the food that I eat too.

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.

I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, ofloxacin, ornidazole, lactic acid bacilli, and loperamide hydrochloride when ever necessary.
Lemon juice is acidic, and have the antibiotic property as well.
I advise you to avoid milk and milk products, wheat, and barley.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
