Have Gross Hematuria, Urine Bubbly With Protein In It, UTI Test Negative. What Does It Indicate?
I don t have insurance right now otherwise i d go have tests done. I have gross hematuria, also urine is slightly bubbly and has protein in it. It is not cloudy. I don t have pain. I m wondering if the 3 symptoms together may narrow down my options. I took a UTI test which appears negative.
Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have gross hematuria and proteinuria. Both these symptoms are suggestive of major pathological lesion in kidneys. Please consult qualified Nephrologist for clinical assessment and further evaluation and investigations to diagnose the problem. 1) Quantity of protein excreted in in urine in 24 hrs. 2) Coagulation profile 3) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen 4) C.T Scan of the kidney ,ureter and bladder. Endoscopic examination of bladder (Cystoscopy) if required. Dr.Patil.
