How Can Facial Impetigo With Redness And Itching Be Treated?
hello my child has impetigo on the face he has 4 yrs and i have treated him with bactoban, azytromicyn for 4 days and the changes has been minimal. the big ones has dry out but there are new ones. we are currently trying altabax but he seems to have a allergic reaction to it. (redness and itchi feeling) no change

Antibiotics are the treatment plan of choice. If the response is inadequate, you can step up the antibiotics after consulting a pediatrician to cefpodoxime. Topical antibiotics like mupirocin can also be applied.
