How To Heal Red And Irritated Bottom Due To Scratching?
my preschool daughter has a rash on her bottom and she itched it so bad, that her bottom is very red and irritated. What should I put on it? Note that she also dumped most of the Ivory soap in the bath earlier, but that she occassionally gets rashes on her bottom, and she scratches a lot.

Your daughter seems to have developed an allergic skin reaction .
Such a rash can occur due to application of any irritants creams or oils over the area. You need to apply a topical steroid cream like cortisone over the affected areas twice a day . She might need a course of oral antihistamine like benadryl along. Avoid application of any creams or oils over body .
