How To Treat Reddish Blotchy Rash On Face In A 15 Months Old Child?

My 15 month old has a reddish blotchy rash on his face only. It was there when I picked him up from daycare. Hcried for a long time after I left him in the morning as this was his first week. The foods he ate during the day were ones that he had eaten before. Today is the fourth day and the rash is still there. His activity level is fine but he has a runny nose and a very slight intermittent cough.

Thanks for your query.
Apply calamine lotion 2to 3 times a day.
Give benadryl as per dosage.
If condition persist get him examined by doctor.
