How To Treat Vaginal Yeast Infection?

Hi I was hoping you could give me some info. I was tested for a Yeast Infection and it came back with a positive. I'm still having no relief from the symptoms, itching of the labias, redness, and tenderness during sexual intercourse. My urine even burned for the first time today after sex. What is wrong with me ?

Hi,
In the current scenario, you should take treatment for the infection immediately. Oral and vaginal applications are ideal in the acute stage. Prophylactic course given for 3-6 months is often helpful in preventing recurrences. Please abstain from intercourse until cured completely. Your partner also may need treatment. Urinary tract infection also has to be ruled out through urinalysis and necessary treatment initiated. Please take adequate liquids, urinary alkalinizers and maintain genital hygiene. Hope this helps.
