Is Bleeding After Gentle Sex Related To Post Fornix Tear?
I was hospitalised on a drip for 24 hours after an over enthusiastic sex session with a well endowed partner that resulted in a 'post fornix tear'
I was advised to abstain fo 6 weeks and am due a check up on 22 march. I had gentle sex last night, have polycystic ovary syndrome and am due my period. I am bleeding today, have back/stomach ache and it is heavier and waterier than normal. I am sure i am ok, just seeking reassurance! Just don't know if the bleeding is period or damage to the healing that was taking place. It smells like the post tear bleeding.

Don't worry you are having normal periods. Gentle sex will not tear posterior fornix. It heals within two weeks. So dont panic. Have a healthy happy life. Good luck.
