Is It Recommended To Vaccinate Rotavirus, Hepatitis B And Pneumococcal Vaccine On The Same Day?

My baby is 6 weeks old and the following vaccines are scheduled for her at this age - DTP, HIB, OPV, Hepatitis B, Rotavirus and Pneumococcal vaccine. Is it recommended to go for all these vaccines on the same day? How many of these can be given as a combination of one injection ?

Hello. Thank you for your question. Medically, there is no real limit to how many vaccines a healthy child can receive. During the first 18 months of life, there are many immunizations to give. That is why multiple vaccines are given at some visits. Though not pleasant, it is perfectly safe.
