Is Itching And Rashes On The Penis Due To Diphelin, Omcet, Enelfa Or Cefutil?

Sir two days before i took the fever tablets and cough syrubs.. the names are Diphelin Syrup, Omcet,Enelfa,Cefutil.. After that my penis is like reddish in colour little bit itching and burning.. and the penis skin rashes and small red dots are there..Is this is because of tablet or any infections..My age is 30 and i got married before 6months.. before i took fever tablet i didnt have this.. please answer my question..

Hi,

Your symptoms are suggestive of allergic reaction to either enelfa or cefutil. Enelfa contains paracetamol and cefutil is a cephalosporin antibiotic. Allergy to cephalosporins in the form of rashes or itching is common. These rashes or allergic reaction is known as fixed drug eruption. Avoiding the causative drug and treatment with antihistamine and steroid will reduce the symptoms.
