Is Meftal-p Advisable For Fever?

hello my son is suffering from fever 102F . I could not get appointment with my family doctor. But i have talked with him over phone. He advised me to give meftal-p. As i could not hear the medicine name properly i am not sure about it.
Is the medicine name correct?

Hi.. Meftal -P you heard right. But I suggest you do not give ur as it contains Mefenamic acid which is an NSAID...it might cause gastritis & renal problems in children. I suggest tiu use only plain paracetamol & not combinations & that too in appropriate dose. Happy to help anytime. If my answer has helped you...kindly rate it.
