Noticed Rashes Due To Diaper

I have a home daycare and one of my little ones has had a severe diaper rash for months. Her MD is going to refer her to a Specialist but its taking so long! Sometimes it bleeds. At the beginning I was using corn starch and it worked but then her dr said not to use it b/c it only works on the top not deep down so now the Mom won't use it. We have tried all the creams, changed diaper brands, now just use Vaseline but its so bad. No wipes for many weeks now..

I a so sorry to hear about this rash that one of your small one has. I understand how difficult this must have been to the whole family. I do agree with your doctor not to use starch on this rash because it is not 100% effective but it is clearly better than doing nothing and more so because you could tell was it helping. I will advice you continue using it as a temporary relief measure until you get to meet the specialist and receive the up to date care. What makes this rash so bad that it needs specialist attention? I will suggest that you take a picture of this rash and send to me through our premium services so that I can help go through this with you and possibly propose measure to help with this.
