Pain In Right Side Of Rib Cage. CT Scan Shows Hepatomegaly. Had Enlarged Liver Last Year. Remedy?
Good day, I'm a 31 yr old male 5'10, 150lbs and just had a ff up ct scan for an adrenalectomy last year. Results show an enlarged liver 17 cm . I'm currently experiencing pain on my right side by the rib cage.started from middle lower back a few days ago which I thought was a muscle strain from training mma.. Although ct scan impression shows hepatomegaly no symptoms like jaundice, tarry stools, fullness or leg swelling have occurred... I'm a very occasional drinker but had a few beers after the pain started..wondering if this has any connection.looking forward to your correspondence thanks for help :)
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in the right side of the rib cage is likely to be due to enlarged liver. The treatment depends on the cause of hepatomegaly which can be detected after proper blood investigations and a biopsy. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
