Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Jaundice In Kid

my son 2.5 years old is suffering from high grade fever for 10 days, jaundice 3 days, abdominal distension & hepatomegaly for 1 day; appetite good, moving bowel, urine dark & less amount. what is the possible diagnosis? he is on paracetamol & cefixime, treating mainly for typhoid.

By what you say I feel that this could be acute viral hepatitis-A or it could be at typhoid related enteric hepatitis.I suggest you discuss these possibilities with the pediatrician there.
