Prolonged Cold. Gave Antibiotics For Suspected Sinus. Having Swollen Lips, Itchy Eyelids, Rashes. Allergic Reaction?

I have had a cold now for over 3 weeks. This also occurred at the beginning of the year in February. In the end doctor said it was my sinus's and gave me antibotics. I told the doctor at the time when I took medication for the cold I would wake up in the morning with 'botox' lips, red, slightly swollen and itchy eyelids and a rash on my next, it would go after a few hours but occurred every morning for a few days she did not give me any reason as I suggested an allergic reaction to the medication she said he never heard of anyone being allergic to sudofed?? But again I now have this cold I took a Wilkinson one a day cold tablet, fine all days 8pm at night lips tingled woke up in the morning with the lips and eyes. Even now my eye lid near the lashes is very itchy. It appears to dry out my skin of my eyes and lips I may have to go back to my doctor as it appears to be the same as before

Hello

Thanks for the query

Sudofed is a wonderful drug for the condition you are having, since it is a combination of drugs it is difficult to tell which drug is causing the allergic reaction.
I advice to stop sudofed and switch over to just plain Tab Levocet 10 mg and Paracetamol three times daily. Discuss my suggestion with your doctor

I hope I was of help

Regards
