Red Oval, Raised, Scaly Spot, No Itching. Did Not Respond To Cream. What Could It Be?

I have an oval red, raised, scaly spot with a dot in the middle that just showed up yesterday. It does not itch; more of a nuisance since I am constantly looking at it when I wear shorts or night clothes. I do have psoriasis , which is never this big or this thick. This has not responded to the cream I got from the dermatologist . What could it be? And should I be concerned enough to see the doctor soon?
