Should I Be Concerned About My Child Having Acne?

My daughter was give a prescription for Bactrim last year. She had a severe reaction a day or two after starting the medication, resulting in an angry red rash all over her body. Her skin was hot to the touch and she experienced added discomfort when touched or whenever her skin came in contact with clothing or surfaces when sitting or lying. The only relief was when I placed cool damp towels on her. I stopped the medication. I took her to the pediatrician, who determined that she was allergic to sulfa medications. She has developed acne and the dermatologist prescribed sulfacleanse 8/4. Should I be concerned?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern acne is the age related problem and this is some time comes around without any specific treatment general care and hygiene alone still some times it does required medicine and the best option is Doxycycline 100 mg once in day instead of Bactrim, actually the treatment of cane is quite lengthy treatment, and drugs being changed every time according the clinical condition, have nice day.
