Spreading Red Spots, Itchy. Prescribed Cream. Suggestions?

my son has red spot and they are itchy, it happened a week ago, star with few of them on left and right side of his neck, now it started to developed all over his top half body, what should I do? I have took him to see a GP this afternoon, Doctor give him a cream and said if it get worth, go back in two days time, but after show tonight, I saw more red spot grow, what can I do now?

Thank you for your query.

It would be good to know which cream was prescribed, because sometime it takes a little longer to show any effect. Considering the speed that it is spreading and I am assuming that there is no fever or other symptoms, it is probably an allergic reaction. I suggest you to go see the same doctor.

Hi

Thanks for your query.

your child is having some allergy.
Continue with medication as advised by your doctor.
Keep a watch on spread of rash for another 12 hours and if it worsens get him re evaluated by doctor for further management.
For itching you can give benadryl in prescribed dosage.
