Suggest Better Treatment For Fever Of A 8 Year Old
Yes my 8 year old son has a fever. When I first checked it was 102.1 after my husband gave him 2 tsp of children's Dimetapp at 7:52pm. I checke his temp against at 8:40pm it was 102.7 F. What else can I do ? I been swiping him down with a cold cloth also.

Your child is suffering from infection.. Most probably viral.Along with dimetaapp you need to give her antipyretic like paracetamol and mefenamic acid for proper control of fever.Fever should decrease in next 2-3 days
