Suggest Medication For Rashes On Torso

Hello Doctor,My two year old son has a NON-ITCHY rash on his torso and arm. Please see the photograph:WWW.WWWW.WW It started over TWO WEEKS ago, just after he was a little unwell, with a slightly higher than normal temperature. The rash started out as small spots, but has since spread and clumped together. It is bumpy to touch. The doctor gave us Fucidin cream, but that has had no effect and the rash continues to spread. He is not unwell, and the rash does not seem to affect him. He has not had this in the past, and no-one has caught it from him in the time he has had it. Thank you Doctor - I appreciate your time with this matter,Regards,Craig

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If there is no fever and he is looking happy, we need not worry. This might be a viral rash, and will be cleared hopefully in a week time. You can apply Calamine lotion if any discomfort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
