my grandson, age 6, has had a fever for 6 days. it seems to go away during the day but reoccurs in the p.m. he has been complaining of a bad headache for several days ("my brain hurts") when the fever spikes and is sensitive to light at times. no other symptoms-no stiff neck, no swollen glands, no rash, no cold symptoms, no ear or throat inflammation, no sore joints. he has been seen by the doctor. thoughts?
Hi Dear Welcome to the HCM, Needs to be examined and investigated thoroughly,Like CBC, ESR ,CRP,Urine Exam,Typhi Dot Test and malaria antigen to get some clue for the recurrent fever. Hope the query is examined. thanks
