Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cyst

I am perimenopause, 54 years old. I had ½ an ovary taken out 2 years ago because of a cyst. Everything went well. I do have two fibroids the size of a golf balls – it is two years later, and I still have my period although I am starting to get them irregular at times. I have a slight problem right now, tiring to figure out if having a period for 30 days is typical of “starting menopause symptoms”. I will make an appointment with my doctor next week, but is that a common thing for women? It’s only maybe 2 tablespoons a day…. But just won’t quit. No pain really, just feels like a regular period. Could it be the fibroids? My doc said I might need a biopsy? Of what? My pap came out fine last month. Not sure what this is, hoping it’s just menopause starting….. I will call and get details, but thought I would ask my question. Thanks so much!!!! Any info would be helpful :)
