What Causes A Rash Behind The Ears In A Child?
My 11 year old daughter developed a rash of red little bumps behind one of her ears a couple of days ago. I put some hydrocortisone cream on it but now this morning, the rash is behind both her ears, neck and sparsely spread across her chest. What could it possibly be and how can we fix it?

At this age causes of red bumps, at underarms may be due to retention of sweat, or some kind of allergy. I suggest you avoid tight clothes and bath him twice a day. You can apply lacto calamine lotion on the bumps to sooth them. You can also apply aloe vera gel for cooling effect. If the symptoms do not go then consult a skin specialist. Consult your doctor once before taking medicine.
