What Causes Constant Diarrhea With Small Flakes Of Blood?
hello i have had almost constant diarrhea for a couple of months now this is occasionally accompanied by small flakes or chunks of blood, i am 31 yrs old and a male i have a bad gall bladder but the pain is minimal to none the majority of the time, also i am aprox 40 pounds overweight, the diarrhea is most prominent after intake of greasy foods, also i experience no stomach pains but i am concerned about the blood can you help?
Hello, constant diarrhea can cause inflamed hemorrhoids which can cause some blood streaking in the stool. Gallbladder issues should not cause any gi bleeding. Avoiding greasy fatty foods will help with indigestion and diarrhea, consider getting your gallbladder removed. The blood is typically self limiting, in that it will stop on its own and is nothing to be severely concerned about. If you notice profuse bleeding, dizziness, shortness of breath, seek medical attention.
