Hi

Upset stomach and the lumps are not related.

Lumps behind his ears are likely to be lymph nodes. They get enlarged when ever there is an infection of the scalp ( impetigo, pustule etc), lice or dandruff in the scalp or any infection in the external ear canal/ pinna. When these things are treated, the lump disappears automatically.

However if the size of the lumps is increasing or its red and tender to touch, then you must have it examined by a doctor.

Vomiting or loose stools (Upset stomach) need to be addressed if it happens frequently.

Hope my answer helps.

Wish your son good health.
