What Could Cause A Fever Continued With Quickly Spreading Rash ?

My daughter is 13, she had a fever of 100.7 yesterday. This morning she woke up without a fever and feeling good. She noticed a rash on the palm of her hands, by this afternoon it has spread to her face (mainly around her mouth) and on her forearms. They look a little like zits.
