What Could The Dark, Itchy, Raised, Patchy Rash On The Inside Of Left Butt Crack Be?

What could the darker tone, itchy, raised, patchy rash on the inside of my left butt crack be? It is localized and has not spread. It is not always itchy. Some days it is more inflamed or less inflamed. I have tried Monistat, preparation h, and clobetisol creams and it has not gone away. What else can I use?

I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS. Could this have anything to do with it?

Hello,

Symptoms and location of rash is quiet suggestive of fungal infection.Since local treatment has failed to show results , you can try oral medications along with this under supervision of your doctor.As oral antifungal medications do have side effects and doctor's supervision is needed.Regards.
