What Diet Plan To Follow To Bring Creatinine Level To Normal?
Hello Doctor, My wife recently got increase creatinine from normal level to 2.3 and urea 52 due sudden high pressure. High blood is new for her. Previously she is alright now, she has controlled Blood pressure to normal level. But we need to bring creatinine level. What are food & fruits we have to take it to bring it normal. Also what type of medicine we have to take now. My wife age is 50 years old. No other problem with her.
She would need to control her blood pressure and any other risk factors (such as diabetes) to reduce the chance of any further changes in the kidneys.
At present she needs to use a general healthy diet comprised of at least 5 portions of fruits and vegetables daily, reduced sodas, adequate water. Exercise, to help with the blood pressure, would also be important.
If her kidney function declines further, she may need to reduce her use of protein.
I hope this helps
