hello, welcome to HCM. Orange coloured stools can be passed in several cases which includes eating any food with artificial yellow or orange coloring like carrots. If stool is still orange when food items suspected of giving it colour, it could mean that it is not being exposed to, or absorbing enough bile salt. This could be caused by a variety of reasons, including diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, or short bowel syndrome. It is advisable for you to consult a peditrician to get her examined. Wish your daughter good health.
