my age is 30 years,i am having BP 160/100.i was using amtas AT but my leg started swelling after using this for 20 days.after that i started taking telmaH swelling is reducing now.please advice me for appropriate drug.is there any side effect of telma h because after taking telma h i like to eat salt more than earlier.

Since at the age of 30 you are having blood pressure, first of all you must get investigated for the cause, at a good medical center. Only if it is proved Essential hypertension, you must take drugs which have no effect on other systems and protect your heart and kidneys.
The simplest and best medicine which has suited many has been
1 enapramil 2.5 mg twice daily. Blood pressure then measured after 3 days... if its not coming down till 140/84 then one can add nebivalol 2.5 mg twice daily.
this will control the bp for years. There is no escape for drugs. You should be doing follow up at least once in 15 days for the first 3 months.
