Does Bactrim And Spironolactone Cause Rashes?
my daughter just began taking bactruim and spirolactone for acne. appox. 2 weeks. she has developed rash and bump at base of skull. area very sensitive. rash is brownish red and from base of skull down neck. never had this issue until began medicine??

Based on the history your daughter seems to have allergic reactions apparently caused by the antibiotic Bactrim.
She needs to switch over to an alternate effective but a safer antibiotic like clindamycin for the treatment of infection associated with acne.
