Oncologist 's  Response
Hi. Tarceva (Erlotinib) causes skin rash in about 75% of patients taking it. It can take form of severe bullous, blistering skin exfoliation.
Patient has been rightly taken off Erlotinib at the moment. Since you have an appointment with your oncologist in 10 days I would suggest that you take pictures of the skin rash now so that your treating oncologist is able to grade the severity of skin rash properly and then decide whether Tarceva can be restarted or not.
I hope it helps. Thankyou for choosing Healthcare Magic.
