Taken Premarin After Total Hysterectomy. Done Surgery For Breast Cyst. Have Depression, Weight Gain

I had a total hysterectomy at age 33 and started on Premarin 1.25 and took them for about 14 years until I had a cyst in my left breast and had surgery, it was not cancer, but it scared me so I quit taking my Premarin. I have not been able to sleep good, gained about 70 pounds, got sleep apnea, irritable alot, got depression. I am 56 now, and I really want to get back on them because, I never feel good , never have any energy. The Premarin worked well for me. What should I do. I don't want to spend the rest of my life feeling this way. Help!

hello, i will like you to take it easy on yourself and know that you could be suffering from premenauposal syndrome. the best option for you is to continue your premarin as this would greatly improve the sympoms. never bother about a recurrence of a breast mass since it was benign. take care
