What Is The Treatment For Fever With Out Any Rashes, Congestion In A Child?

Hello, my 21 month old son has had a fever for two days now...never exceeding 37.8 and he has been responding to Children's Motrin. However, once it wears off the fever goes back up. He does not have any other symptoms except for extreme fatigue, he sleeps for most of the day. No rashes, congestion, sneezing, coughing etc. Please advise. Thank you.
